Cantley Customs

Cantley Customs began inside of an external garage I began renting during the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2019 as a way to both abide by socially distancing standards and to expand on my skills as a maker. Coming from a heavily artistic, musical household, I was always inclined to create and design… and this place gave me a lot of freedom to experiment, fail, and learn. While I’ve been here, I’ve learned what I love about woodworking, what I’m great at, and what drives me nuts.

I have also been stepping outside of the shop and into my community, seeking ways I can use my skills to improve the quality of life for those around me. Working under the guidance of some of the most reputable contractors in town, I’ve had the chance to take my tools to the homes of people with a huge variety of different needs. Sloped roof deck constructions, wall framing and finishing, tile floors, shingling roofs, replacing water heaters, and replacing subfloor joists, vinyl siding, and deck boards are just a few of the jobs that I have had the pleasure of completing for clients. Every day can be something new if you commit to being open to the opportunity to serve who needs help.

My hope is that this website can showcase the variety and quality of work I have completed, and reassure potential clientele that they are in the right place to find professional help- whether it is a complicated built-in cabinet with custom shelving, or a simple door swing adjustment.
